By the numbers I finished 68 projects:
- 25 adult sweaters: 15: 3/4-long sleeve, 9: short sleeve, 1 cape
- 1 vest
- 15 kids sweaters
- 3 baby blankets
- 1 doll
- 2 neckties
- 9 hats
- 5 cowls
- 2 mitts/fingerless gloves
- 2 pairs of socks
- 3 dog sweaters
I cannot believe how much I knit this year. Absolutely cannot believe it and yet I still feel like I didn’t get to do as much as I wanted to this year. I know, I’m crazy. And of course with the high volume of knitting I was able to accomplish I’m always asked how?! I typically knit at least 1 to 2 hours a day. If I commute with my husband I’m guaranteed an hour in the car and then an hour or more in the evening before bed. And there are some weekends where I knit and veg out. I’m also a fairly quick knitter and I like worsted weight projects the most, so they’re also faster. No real secret, just picking the right projects for me.
I’ve gathered up all my monthly posts if you want to take a look at everything I knit this year. Again, I’ve even surprised myself. And now I’m excited to see what I can accomplish for 2017!

Obviously, you are already skilled in “colorwork!” I know you probably mean Fair Isle. Right? Anyway, I love your style, and you are the epitome of the saying “a small amount of effort consistently applied can accomplish great things.” If only I could learn that lesson as well.
Stranded colorwork, fair isle. I don’t think of stripes as colorwork since that’s just pretty basic. But I think when I stopped putting deadlines on myself and truly knit for the joy of it I ended up making a ton of stuff. Who knows, I might only knit 2 things this year….nah!
Da-yamn girl. This is phenomenal! I love that little cutie with the little bun buns. And it is always fun to see your two babies cozied up in some fun gear.
I realized only last month that I knit a lot LOL. It didn’t feel like it but when I added it up I was like wow!
