I didn’t complete anything in November but I made up for that in December! Over my winter break I was able to finish the following projects:
- Five color Frid, I wore it the other day and it’s not as hot as I thought it was going to be, so I may wear this more often than I thought.
- My Love Note. I’m obsessed.
- My short sleeve cardigan. Excited to add this to my work wardrobe rotation.
- Beaded sweaters for Jellybean and me. These are fun and I anticipate making another sweater full of beads at some point this year.
- A beaded hat for Jess. Totally forgot to give this to her when I saw her over Christmas. Oops. I’ll see her next week in NYC.
- Prado Vest for my husband. I also successfully shrank it for him so that it’s the length that he wants. Hooray!
School starts on Monday and I’ve already been assigned reading homework for my Monday class. I’m ready to go back to work and school and I am hoping to have better balance this semester and still get to knit. Any goals for 2020 for you?
To knit more, finish old wips and learn new techniques is my goal this year.
So glad to hear that the Five Color Frid is not too warm. It looks so awesome and deserves plenty of public exposure! Happy New Year and thanks for your blog.
Happy New Year, I hope to conquer more challenging technique in my knitting this year. Love your projects, especially the Harry Potter sweater design that ggmadeit is working on.
how do you manage to knit so much, I manage 1 shawl every other month and knit every night too. WOuld love to see a video of your hands in action!
What cotton yard did you use for your ADORABLE Soldotna? I live in Florida and would love to make it.
Thanks!!!
Search for it on the blog (search bar is at the top left) to get all the details on it. Thanks!
I love your Five Color Frid. I am also completely envious of your many pairs of eyeglass frames; what a great way to add style!
Always look forward to your posts Dana. Love your color sense-the sweaters look great on you. Your husband looks pretty yummy in his vest too. That red stripe adds just the right touch. Wishing you and yours the best for the New Year.
Wow!! That is more than I finish in a year. I love your bright, happy colors!! 🙂
I wish I could knit as fast as you. I have four kids, so someone always wants something! I think my knitting goal this year is to finish my three complicated WIPs so that I can bang out sweaters for my college-bound daughter. 🙂
I only found you recently via Mason Dixon Knitting. I’m astonished at how many beautiful sweaters you can complete, even while teaching and going to school! But the one thing that stands out in all your photos of your completed projects is your dazzling smile! Keep knitting and keep that gorgeous smile and attitude. I look forward to following your blog regularly. Bring on 2020!!
