I’ve had an insane week this week with work, so I haven’t gotten in as much stitching as I typically do since I start to fade by 9pm. I’m hoping to make up for lost time with a quiet weekend that will bring me good barbecue and a few hours to myself while my husband plays a round of golf (I used to play golf but decided I’d rather spend that time knitting). But here’s what I’ve done thus far…
I’ve made really good progress on my South Bay Sweater test knit. It’s so good that I don’t want to put it down to knit my sister’s birthday present. And I’ve been flip flopping on what I want to make Anne and can’t decided between two patterns. Whatever I choose, I’m starting on Sunday. Other distractions…
This snuggly nugget.
And this wild woman.
On top of knitting, work and teaching I’m happy that these tiny distractions get me outside and keep me laughing every day. Here’s to a happy yarn filled weekend!
Tomorrow I’m running to the grocery store, coming home, getting in my play clothes and slippers and KNITTING the rest of the day away!
Sounds divine!
That’s one lucky sista! I love quiet weekends. The girls and I finally had quiet time last night after spending most of the day up in the city. I love how your babies are bundled up. Their outerwear is too cute.
