October’s FO’s

October’s FO’s
Hello, November! I can’t believe this year is almost over and Christmas will be here before you know it. So here’s what I was able to finish in October.

Not a bad month if I do say so myself. Two adult sweaters and three baby sweaters. For November I’m trying to finish up a test knit, a sweater for my sister’s birthday and I’ve got an idea in my head of sweaters for Cher and Jellybean that I’ve got to whip up. Oh and I need a hat for myself. All doable. What did you finish last month and what are you hoping to accomplish this month?

  1. my goodness! I get exhausted just reading what you finished last month..lol. great job. your items are always so pretty and so is your mom.. looks too young to have a grown daughter! cant wait to see what you do next month.

    1. My Mom hates when I tell people how old she is, but I think she looks pretty great (shhhh….she’s 73!). I’m her youngest baby and I’m 39!

  2. Awesome!!! October was a really busy month for you! 🙂

  3. You’re a dynamo! You’re astonishing! I’ve finished a hat and mitts out of wool hand spun by a friend — sending it back to the same friend, whose hair is just the right shade to go with the auburn handspun. And… I’m sorting out Vodka Lemonade, which is not a hard sweater to knit, but oh, man, the division of the top-down shoulder shaping is really confusing. Going to have to shut myself in the bathroom with it so I can mutter uninterrupted and get the stitch markers in right!

Your mom is gorgeous — for any age! I’m sure you’re thankful you share those great genes!

  4. That’s impressive, not only you knit so fast but the quality of your knits is amazing! And you Mom looks great in her cardigan, I love how the cuffs turn a simple, pretty neutral cardi into something unique!

  5. OMGoodness, my fiber FO count for October was one item – a Christmas ornament, crocheted. But I did also finish roughly about 14 cards, two tote bags, and one zippered pouch.

  6. Your mum’s cardigan is terrific. I love how you put that peachy color on the cuffs. You are an awesome knitter.
