FO: Planter Pullover

I took a longer than anticipated hiatus but I just needed a break. Don’t worry, I’ve been knitting! I’ve got lots of finished objects to share and then my holiday cards too! But up first, the Planter Pullover.

Holiday 2020

I was looking at my stash and thought, I need to whip up some quick things with the heavier yarns to make room. I’ve purchased a few skeins while I’ve been home all these months but I’ve definitely go to work on using up some of what’s in my stash. So I pulled over some of my beloved and discontinued Classic Elite Palace and Chateau yarn to whip up the Planter Pullover. The seafoam green color has a little bit of tweed flecks and the yellow was leftover from this sweater I made my sister Anne.

It’s a bulky weight pullover that didn’t take a ton of yardage. I did make a few changes to the original pattern by making my sleeves elbow length (this yarn is WARM) and I added some increases and short row shaping to the lower portion. The top half I followed the pattern to a tee. And of course I had to add my Jellybean in her Lucky Dog sweater when I took photos.

Added bonus, this sweater inspired a change in my color palette for our holiday sweaters so you will definitely see this one again!
