Mood

I saw a graphic yesterday that said for 72% of September we’ve had grey skies. It has been rainy and gross out the entire month.

I’m knitting and plugging along, grading assignments and snuggling dogs. My husband is almost back from a stretch of travel and my mood this week has been a little blah. So here’s hoping for some rainbows after all the cloudy skies we’ve had, I need the pick me up!

  1. Ditto! I saw 2 rainbows last week as the sun tried to peek out through one of those ‘not raining’ moments! It was a GLORIOUS site! Everytime I look at your project page on Rvlry, it brightens my day just like a rainbow! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Keep on knitting up those beautiful color combos, DWJ! ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Hello Dana! I totally symphatize with your blah feelings over many grey days. I am a daylight/sunny day kind of person. Fortunately I live in Sรฃo Paulo, Brazil and we don’t have such a gloomy weather for very long. Actually, we are just getting into spring, lots of flowers blooming, spring fever feelings, etc. But you have an advantage right now: you are getting into winter and it will give you a huge amount of opportunities of knitting your colorful and full of joy knits! As for me, very warm days make it difficult to even look at wool. I am still not a cotton yarn knitter. God bless your sunny heart!

  3. Hang in there!! Remember you have sunshine within you! Hugs!!

  4. The sun will return! I’ll be thinking of you when the rain really starts pouring down here in the Pacific Northwest…. Any minute now! So glad your sunny example encouraged me to choose a few brighter colors for this year’s fall sweaters.

  5. Just found your blog and am loving it. It’s about to get really gray here in Oregon too! I hope you get some blue sky soon. ๐Ÿ™‚
