September’s FO’s

September has come and gone and we are deep into what my husband calls pumpkin spice season (he’s so basic). Over the weekend it was actually 45 degrees when I got up to walk the dogs. But that also means it’s sweater weather. I realize for this area I make a ton of cardigans because it’s freezing in the morning and then hot by the afternoon. It’s a nice layer to have. And in September I was able to finish a few pieces transitional weather pieces for myself AND on Saturday night I finished a lovely piece for my BFF Jess I’ll be sharing this week.
September FO’s
So here’s what I was able to accomplish:

  • A Bandana Cowl using yummy Fibre Co. Tundra yarn. I’ve got a new light jacket in olive green that this will go perfectly with…now if I’d just sit down and knit myself a hat.
  • My Mint Madness Cardigan, which also matches perfectly with my knit Chuck Taylors which makes me even happier.
  • My Freestyle Fade that I cannot WAIT to wear but I need it to be 60 degrees as the high before I do that.
  • The Perfect Pink Storm for my BFF Jess. I’m going to talk about this one in depth on Wednesday but you can check my Ravelry page for now. This project was a a mix of the perfect yarn, the perfect pattern for the perfect person. I love it.

And currently, I’ve got a cardigan on my needles based on a request from my Mom. Whenever she points out something I’ve made for myself that she wants I make a mental note to add that to my ‘Must Make Mom’ list. Her birthday is next week and it might not be done in time but it will definitely be soon and I think she’s going to love it.

So what were you able to accomplish in September? Share!

  1. wwwoooohhhooo!!! SUPER excited that you finished the Perfect Pink Storm! It looks great!

  2. Me? I read 16 books and finished my shawl and my niece’s cardigan. I do need to wet-block them though. I should do it today since it’s warm out.
