It’s different celebrating a birthday the older you get. I woke up today so grateful to see 41. Maybe it’s because I’m always missing my Dad, especially more now that I’m in school doing something he was so excited about for me. I just feel an overwhelming happiness that I’m still here. I get to live this wonderful, messy, complicated, beautiful life. I am grateful. Do me a favor today, call it a birthday gift for me.
Tell someone you love them today. Tell someone you’re happy they’re in your life. Tell someone that your life is better because they are in it. Because my life is better because of all of you. Thank you for making today and every day so special.
