In My Stash: Cascade Casablanca

I haven’t done a What’s In My Stash post in a while and I just got something new and wanted to share!
Cascade Casablanca Rainbow yarn
It’s a good day when I find a lovely skein of yarn swirled into a perfect rainbow. I think green yarn and rainbow palettes or rainbow yarn fill me will joy. So when Little Knits had Cascade Casablanca on crazy sale, I bought enough to make a sweater because that’s what I do.

A mix of mohair, silk and wool, the texture is interesting. I’ve never bought a mix like this and it is described as being similar to a NORO yarn. The color is insanely gorgeous. I can’t wait to knit this up!

So you all know my love for color, what’s your favorite color of yarn to buy? I’m always curious what others buy opposed to my crazy brights.
Hoppy Easter 🐇
And just because I have declared myself a crazy dog lady and this picture makes me smile, I had to share my Easter bunny from over the weekend. Cher has to be the most patient pup that ever lived to deal with me and my crazy photos. Happy Monday!

She is the cutest Easter Bunny I’ve ever seen! 😉

I always thought you would see nothing but green in my stash, but it would seem a lot of purple pops up. Purple? I hate purple! Well, red violet appears to be acceptable.

Mohair, silk, and wool is an interesting blend. I’ve knit with mohair/wool blends quite a bit and REALLY like the combination. I’ll be interested to hear how you like the Casablanca. Cher Bunny is precious!!! 🙂

Yeah I can’t wait to get it on my needles…but I have so many other things I should be making instead LOL And Cher is my favorite. My sisters think I’m a crazy dog lady and I’m totally okay with it.

Do you have any of the rainbow yarn left? In the middle of a project & ran out. It has been discontinued… 😦
