6 Months of Knitting

I totally forgot with my June knitting recap to talk about what I’ve done so far with knitting the first half of the year.
6 months of knitting
This is 6 months of knitting folks! So far I’ve made…

  • 5 sweaters (3/4 or full length sleeves)
  • 4 short sleeved sweaters/tees
  • 1 baby sweater
  • 3 dog sweaters
  • 10 hats
  • 6 cowls/shawls
  • and 1 tie!

That’s 30 hand knit items in the last 6 months, not bad if I do say so myself. What has the first half of your knitting year looked like? And what are you hoping to accomplish before the year is up?

  1. Woweee Zoweee! That is quite a bit! 🙂 Way to go DWJ and they’re all gor-geous!

  2. You are a knitting machine. I’m retired and can’t that much. Love your work!

    1. Hahahaha I always tell people it’s because I don’t have children that I can knit this much. I’m just quick!

  3. Great production-good thing you live in weather that allows you to wear all those sweaters.

  4. Good gravy, you are en fuego! I’m totally jealous! The only time I’ve knit that much in six months was early 2017, because eleven chunky-weight pink hats didn’t take much time and there was the date for mailing them to DC for the Women’s March as a deadline. 🙂 Plus everything you make is gorgeous.

  5. Really, my only consolation with being so much slower than you is that at least my yarn budget goes a long, long way….

  6. Unfortunately, my first 6 months of knitting is nothing like yours.

  7. I’ve recently started following your blog and I’m impressed and inspired! While I’m not nearly so prolific I’ve made 3 hats, 2 shawls, one cardigan and am working on a version of Guthrie inspired by you in a cotton/linen blend from Sugarbush yarns! As for the remainder of the year, I hope to complete some more cotton projects and then get started on Christmas gifts for my family. Thanks for the continued inspiration!
