Stitching Status: Hiatus

💖 #HeyJellyGirl #knittersofinstagram
I’ve decided after a long semester, work, life, sickness (bronchitis and then a tick bite) and everything else in between, I need a break. I wasn’t planning on not blogging but I want to just shut my brain off for a bit, enjoy some time off with my husband and come back to everything in my life refreshed. So I’ll see you some time next week. And hopefully you’ll be knitting something really good while I’m gone because I’m always knitting something!

  1. Enjoy yourself DWJ!!! There will still be plenty of knitting to be done when you get back 😉

  2. Selfishly, I’m mortified at this development, BUT . . . good for you! Blogging, like knitting, should be fun and rewarding, and if it begins to feel like too much of an obligation, it’s time to take a break. That’s my view anyway. Enjoy yourself and your beautiful family AND your knitting!

  3. P.S. Ewwwwww!!!! We have ticks all over the place around here, and I live in fear of them. Paul and I always check each other when we come in from time outside and freak out a tiny bit when we find one. Hope you’re recovering!

    • Ugh the tick situation was made worse by the fact that it happened as soon as my husband left the country! And the antibiotics and/or the tick left me super sick and exhausted but I’m on the mend for sure and feeling way better now.

      • Oh, no! We’ve never actually gotten sick from a tick bite, at least so far. I’m so sorry you had to deal with that. Rest and relaxation is definitely in order. Take care of yourself!
