I know my posting has been sporadic but when you don’t sit in front of a computer all day it’s hard to sit down and write a blog post!
But my semester is over as of today and I’ll have about 5 weeks of winter break. Of course I’m working during my break, getting a certification so I can teach something new to my students in the spring but there will be definitely be lots of knitting and much needed recharging of my batteries. I have to say I’m proud of myself for surviving my first full time semester of teaching and my husband keeps telling everyone I’m 1000% happier. I really am! Every day is a good day and just when you feel like you’re running out of steam, the semester ends so you can recharge.
But back to knitting, in this pic is a little test knit I couldn’t resist. It’s turning out really well and I’m just down to one last sleeve. I’ve got holiday photos coming so that means new dog knits coming too! My husband won’t have a the vest I wanted to make him but I’m still working on the one I’ve got on my needles so hopefully I’ll finish that up in December too.
Soooo glad to hear you are much happier without your old workplace! 😉 Can’t wait to see what the test knit is, that little peek has sparked my curiosity! 🙂
1000 % happier is an excelent sign! This text knit pic looks sooo different! I am very curious…
So fun to read the happiness in your posts about your teaching! Love your knitting, can’t believe how much you get done in a month. Grace Durham NC
