Join Me for Makers for Kamala

Makers for Kamala Live Stream

I’ve talked before about how knitting is political and that what we do is inherently political. My (very) liberal political leanings aren’t new to anyone who has been following me for a long time. So, I’m asking that if you’re of the same mind as me and you’re a maker (knitter, crocheter, yarn dyer, sewer, quilter, illustrator, designer…you’re just creative) you will join me for the Makers for Kamala live stream on September 15. I know there have been a lot of groups supporting Vice President Kamala Harris’ bid for the presidency, and I’m excited to be a part of one that is reaching out to all the creatives. I’ll be MCing the event and I would love for you to join us! Register here so we can get an idea about the numbers and spread the word! Invite your other creative friends. We would love to have you!

Is this event targeted primarily at fiber-related makers, or might it be interesting to makers in other fields? Should I forward this to my son, whose Insta bio describes him as: Illustrator, Graphic Designer, Father, Star Wars fan/ Prop Builder (Rebel/ 501st [TK-25622]), Norse Reenactor; and who has 19K followers for the SW gear he builds?

Absolutely forward it! Makers include a wide range of makers. My friend is a Lego Master and he signed up too!

Sorry, I don’t support losers for government offices. She’s clearly not Presidential material and is incapable of articulating her strategies and policies on matters of importance to the American people. Knitting did not become “political” until Casey Forbes on Ravelry was instrumental and responsible for the divisiveness between liberal and conservative knitters. Apparently, “inclusiveness” means as long as everyone thinks the same and supports the radicals -otherwise get out. Just don’t expect the conservatives to support liberal small businesses and shops.

Noelle, you aren’t sorry about shit and clearly you’re ignorant as hell. Knitting has always been political, since the days of asking Americans to knit socks for troops in the war. And clearly you’re stupid too, coming here giving Fox “news” talking points about a candidate who had more information and policies than Trump who doesn’t even have the concepts of plans he claimed to have. Bother someone else with your vitriol and stupidity cause I don’t care to hear it.

You are uneducated and low class. We’re you raised by wolves?? knitting for soldiers in the military is not political. It is supporting military men who lay down their lives for our country. You are a 🤡. It has no political association. You’d ignorance is showing.

Deep sigh…your ignorance is staggering. Yet unsurprising 🤷🏾‍♀️
