The other day I told my husband how weird and wonderful the world is sometimes. I started blogging and writing because I just wanted to share my love of knitting and color. I didn’t expect to every write a column for MDK or be asked to be a Knit Star or any of the other wonderful opportunities that have come my way over the years. I just wanted to share what brought me joy and in return I’ve gotten so much back in return. I was struck by some of the messages from my Knit Stars class that premiered this week (November 4 is the last day to buy season 6) and I was touched at what people said they got out of the lessons. Even if you don’t get the classes, I hope from here on this blog you know that I want you to choose joy when you knit. Knit what makes you happy. Knit for people who make you happy. Knit with materials that make you happy. Life is really too short to do anything else.
Again, I thank you for supporting me, for reading this blog and for being a part of my fiber community. I just thought I should say it again.
